Was Mary Baker Eddy the Real Author?

Discerning the Rights of Man - pages 1-3 Richard F. Oakes
1 Attempts to describe, explain, justify or excuse Mrs. Eddy tell us something of the describer - whether they tell us anything about Mrs. Eddy is another matter.  Either we use "Mrs. Eddy" to signify the scribe of Truth in this age, or we have doubts about this and confine the words to a personality.

If we have doubts, the use will be inconsistent and questionable, in terms of personal anecdotes and in terms of local church problems; if we do not, it will fit God's one consistent whole and embrace all the written truth of Christian Science.

Referring again to the opening verse, (open or download from link below to see text) to a pussy cat a queen will be assessed by her relationship to the everyday excitements of mice and chairs. We learn little from a cat of the nature of queenly office.

  "God is my Life"
Mary Baker Eddy's last written words
An Interpretation by Fernand Emile d'Humy

Mary Baker Eddy - A New Look At Her Place in Bible Prophecy - 1980 - pages 341-348 - PDF FREE Helen M. Wright
2 Fernand Emile d'Humy, in his book, Mary Baker Eddy Fulfills Prophecy, he records how through divine inspiration he was led to see a deep meaning in Mary Baker Eddy's last four written words, "God is my Life".

The eight pages of Helen M. Wright's book, Mary Baker Eddy - A New Look..., are a part of this May 2015 lesson.  These eight pages are the record of a panel discussion whose focus is the part of Mr. d'Humy  book, Mary Baker Eddy Fulfills Prophecy, regarding his interpretation of those all important last four written words.

Mr. d'Humy knew nothing of the “system” of Christian Science. He was a physical scientist of international reputation. He was Research director for the Western Union Telegraph Company.

The "Second Coming of Christ" has already occurred

Christ's Second Coming - 1971 - 30 pages - FREE pdf Doris Grekel
3   Doris Grekel Introduction:  "Behold he cometh" are the words of Saint John in the first chapter of Revelation. Most of Christendom looks toward the second coming of Christ as the goal of prophecy.

Isaiah wrote, "a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son". Christians know that this prophecy was fulfilled by Mary's conception and the birth of Jesus of Nazareth; but was this Christly man recognized when he appeared among men? No, even though his birth was heralded by angels and a star in the heavens, "he came unto his own and his own received him not."  He was despised and rejected of men as Isaiah had foretold.

Will men be as slow to acknowledge the second coming of Christ?  Christians answer, Oh, no: we are looking for him.  But are they looking in the right direction?  Early in the twentieth century a book was found entitled "The Time of the End."  As early as 1571 a D.D. advanced the idea that the reappearing of Christ would occur in 1866." ("Divinity Course and General Collectanea", p. 171).
